I posted a couple images of Wyatt recently and I like to keep things balanced, so here’s one of Boone I took on Xmas.
Speaking of Xmas, last night Wyatt destroyed one of his gifts. So, if anyone was making bets on how long it would take for they guys to break a present, whoever bet on “two days” wins the prize.
That’s Wyatt chasing seagulls at the beach. This is how we said goodbye to Xmas. It was a pretty rad holiday. I hope all of you had an awesome one as well.
Xmas Unwrapped
I don’t have kids anymore. They’re now “bad guys,” according to them anyway. That’s what they decided while playing with their new toys after an awesome Xmas morning. The bad guys spent most of their playtime running from a T-Rex through a wasteland of wrapping paper and escaping in a boat… I don’t know. It was their game. I didn’t question it.
I guess being a bad guy is pretty exhausting. They’re both zonked out right now. So, it’s Mimosas for Papa while he takes some time to explore his NEW iPAD! That’s right, people. Santa clearly doesn’t check his naughty list.
This is a decoration on my friends’ Xmas tree. Seems appropriate.
Thanks to my Tumblr Parenting Secret Santa for the Amazon gift card. I already know what I’m using it for.
To everyone else on Tumblr who spent last night assembling playsets and eating Santa’s cookies, thanks for making this an awesome year. I feel lucky to have made many friends here and I look forward to meeting many more.
Happy holidays from my family to yours.
“Honey! It’s a Christmas miracle!”
Boone was misbehaving just now, so I faked a call to the North Pole. I told him the hold music was Mannheim Steamroller. It worked.
Merry Christmas, everybody.
From Boone, Wyatt and some creepy old guy.
