If you haven’t seen this, it’s kind-of awesome. Yes, it’s nearly 9 minutes long. But, after this Southern dad (who also happens to work in IT) angrily addresses points in one of his daughter’s Facebook rants about him, he unloads his .45 into the girl’s laptop. So rad.
Maybe not great parenting, but damn funny. The bullets start flying around the 7 min., 30 sec. mark.

Probably not the best way of handling things. But, I’ve been there. Not willing to put a bullet in a laptop. But, I’ve been there.

Having raised two teens, I probably wouldn’t have gone that far but I can understand his frustration. When they’re 15 all that baby cuteness is gone & you’re left looking at “The Smirk”. “The Smirk” will drive you bat-crap crazy.

Yeah, nothing says great parenting like guns, swearing, and cigs. WTF people. This shouldn’t be a rally cry for bad ass...

i think this is a fine way of getting his point across.
he just had the balls to do what i think every parent imagines doing at least once - blowing that ****ing thing to pieces. I think youtube parent rebuttals are genius.

To find out the dog ratted her out is hilarious! Thank goodness my son knows better than to post stuff like this even if I don’t follow him on fb.

Purely an assumption, but I wonder how many times/ways he disciplined his daughter to no avail. My parents raised me well, but I was still rebellious, some kids just are, and I’m not saying he should have a used a gun, but destroying the lap top? Yes

I watched this yesterday, funny as hell. Maybe not the best way to get his point across, but like the video says, it obviously didn’t sink in the first time.
