Yesterday (and once before), I wrote that I need to be the person I want my boys to be. That’s why yesterday I finally took down our outdoor Christmas lights. I said I would do it weeks ago, but kept putting it off. I realized my boys will learn to be a man of their word only from me. So, though I was tired and sick, I did it. That’s why, when my boys grow up, they’ll fulfill their promises while whining and cursing.
