The Daddy Complex

What are your top 5 daddy blogs?

Asked by Anonymous

This is terrible, but… I don’t read a whole lot of other daddy blogs.

Well, let me clarify that. I do read Tumblr dad blogs. Perhaps because of the type of person Tumblr attracts, the dads are much more entertaining than other dad bloggers, whose sites seem full of nothing but advice and product reviews.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying those people are bad bloggers — hell, I’ve done some product reviews and I’ll offer advice when asked. It’s just not what I look for in a blog, y’know? For me, I basically look for a writer who makes me laugh without trying too hard… or makes me think… without trying too hard.

So, with that very lengthly preamble, here are some Tumblr dads I like in no particular order (and this is in no way a comprehensive list):

Shit. See? I know I’m leaving a lot of great Tumblr dads off this list. I just can’t think of them all right now. That’s why I don’t like doing these lists. Damn it! Why? Why did you ask this? WHY?!

UPDATE: Blaaargh! See? I forgot thegreatdaddyproject. Damn it!
