I’m David Vienna, a professional writer and father of twin boys. Their names are Wyatt and Boone and, yes, they’re as awesome as you think.

They were born in 2008 and I spent almost two years as a work-at-home dad, a role for which I was woefully unprepared… not the work-at-home part. I had that down. It was the dad part… actually, I shouldn’t use past tense. I am woefully unprepared. Still. It’s quite shocking actually.

Anyway, they’re awesome, like I said. And I’m figuring it out. I chronicle the daily challenges, surprises and nervous breakdowns in various ways at The Daddy Complex. Some things people seem to like are:

• My original puppet Web series Fighting With Babies, in which a puppet version of me debates puppet versions of my sons.
• The fake conversations, in which an imaginary version of me debates imaginary versions of my sons. (If this sounds familiar, it’s because these serve as scripts for the Web series.)

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from reading this blog it’s that I’ve handled much more poo than I’m comfortable with.
